A cozy retreat with character
The owners at Anchorage Motel Apartments were incredibly accommodating, ensuring we felt right at home. The room's cleanliness and heated bathroom floors were delightful after a long day of hiking.
However, the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent, making it hard to catch up on work and stay connected. Additionally, heating could have been improved as the temperature dipped quite a bit at night.

cozy, cozy, cozy
The warm, clean studio with a private cedar hot pool was a highlight after our long days of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, making self-catering a breeze, and the BBQ facilities added to the outdoor enjoyment. Having a relaxing soak in the hot tub at the end of the day was truly a treat!

The cedar hot tub provided a warm escape during a chilly day, keeping things cozy. Heated tiles made for a pleasant welcome when stepping in from the cold.
Thin pillows made for a less than perfect sleep experience, especially when trying to combat the relentless glow from the neighboring unit's bathroom light. Some kitchen essentials, like oil or salt and pepper, felt absent and would’ve improved cooking in the kitchenette where I was staying.

Our family had an amazing stay! The location was perfect, being close to numerous restaurants and shops. Right by the lake for morning runs. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for self-catering. And in the evenings, the cozy hot tub was a wonderful way for the kids to unwind after a day of exploring.
The parking situation was a bit tight, making it challenging during busier times.

Enjoyed the cozy room with heated floors and towel racks in the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals, which was a big plus. Location worked well, just a short drive to town and the lake. I appreciated the parking spot right outside the room. However, the heat pump was quite loud and made it difficult to sleep at night. It was a bit chilly without it, so we ended up turning it off. A couple of thin pillows didn’t help either. Still, I found decent value for the stay overall.
